The Story of the Dwarves and the Treasures of the Gods
Aug 11, 2025
Deep beneath the mountains of Svartalfheim, in halls carved from living rock and lit by the glow of forge-fires that never died, dwelt the most skilled craftsmen in all the Nine Realms. These were the dwarves—master smiths, enchanters, and creators whose works were so magnificent that even the gods themselves coveted their creations.
The dwarves were not like the other races of the cosmos. Born from the flesh of the primordial giant Ymir when the world was first made, they had been granted by the gods a gift that surpassed even divine abilities—the power to create objects that combined perfect craftsmanship with living magic.

The Story of the Giant Thrym
Aug 10, 2025
In the frost-covered realm of Jotunheim, where the wind howled across endless peaks of ice and snow, ruled Thrym, the mightiest of all the frost giants. His palace was carved from a glacier that had stood since the world’s beginning, its walls gleaming blue-white in the pale northern light, and his throne was made from the bones of ancient creatures frozen in eternal ice.
Thrym was not like other giants who relied purely on strength and size to dominate their enemies. He possessed a cunning mind that matched his enormous stature, and he had long harbored a secret desire—to possess the most beautiful of all the goddesses as his bride and to humiliate the gods of Asgard in the process.

The Story of the Midgard Serpent (Jormungandr)
Aug 10, 2025
In the deepest trenches of the vast ocean that surrounds Midgard, where no light from the sun has ever penetrated and the pressure would crush mountains, dwells one of the most magnificent and terrible beings in all the Nine Realms. This is Jormungandr, the Midgard Serpent, whose massive coils encircle the entire world and whose tail rests in his own mouth.
Jormungandr was not always the monster of the deep that mortals fear in their darkest nightmares. Once, he had been merely one of three extraordinary children born to Loki and the giantess Angrboda in the wild lands of Jotunheim. As a hatchling, he was no larger than any other serpent, though even then his scales gleamed like polished jade and his eyes held an intelligence that was both beautiful and unsettling.

The Story of the God Hodr
Aug 9, 2025
The sun had a way of making Baldr glow, not as a flame does, but as a lily on water—quiet, effortless, bright. In Asgard, where laughter and feasts were common, Baldr’s smile was the warmest. His brother Hodr loved that smile dearly, though he had never seen it.
Hodr was born without sight. Yet he knew the shape of the world through sound and touch: the whisper of ravens’ wings, the copper breath of the hearth, the cool braids of the wind. When the gods tossed their spears and hurled their stones at Baldr to prove that nothing could harm him, Hodr stood apart, listening to the clatter and cheer.

The Story of the God Narfi
Aug 9, 2025
In the time before Loki’s heart turned fully to malice, when mischief was his game rather than cruelty, he had a family that he loved with surprising tenderness. His wife was Sigyn the Faithful, whose loyalty would prove deeper than the roots of Yggdrasil itself. And they had children—two sons who knew nothing of their father’s growing darkness, who saw only the parent who told them clever stories and taught them to laugh at the world’s absurdities.

The Story of Sif's Golden Hair
Aug 5, 2025
In all of Asgard, no goddess was more beautiful than Sif, wife of Thor the thunder god. But her greatest glory was not her fair face or graceful form—it was her magnificent hair, which fell to her feet like a cascade of the finest gold. When she walked in the morning sunlight, her hair shimmered and gleamed as if woven from the sun’s own rays.
Thor was utterly devoted to his wife, and he would often spend hours simply watching her brush her glorious golden tresses, his heart swelling with pride and love.

The Binding of Fenrir
Aug 2, 2025
In the time before the world’s ending, when the gods of Asgard still ruled from their golden halls and the Nine Worlds were held together by the great ash tree Yggdrasil, there lived in the realm of the Aesir a creature whose destiny would shake the very foundations of existence. This was Fenrir, the wolf-child of Loki, whose story is one of the most tragic and fateful in all of Norse mythology.

The Story of Loki's Children
Aug 1, 2025
In the wild lands of Jotunheim, beyond the reach of Asgard’s golden light, Loki the shapeshifter had taken a giantess named Angrboda as his wife. She was beautiful in the fierce way of the giants, with dark hair that flowed like a midnight river and eyes that held the wisdom of ancient forests.
Their love, though born of two different worlds, was deep and true. But their union would produce children unlike any the Nine Realms had ever seen—children whose very existence would shake the foundations of destiny itself.

The Theft of Thor's Hammer (Mjolnir)
Aug 1, 2025
Thor the Thunder-God awoke one morning in his great hall Bilskirnir to find something terribly wrong. He reached instinctively for Mjolnir, his mighty hammer that never left his side, but his hand grasped only empty air. The weapon that had never failed him, that returned to his hand whenever thrown, that could level mountains and split the sky with lightning—was gone.
“MJOLNIR!” Thor’s roar shook the very foundations of Asgard, rattling the halls of the gods and causing the rainbow bridge Bifrost to shimmer with his fury. He leaped from his bed, his red hair wild with sleep and anger, his blue eyes blazing like lightning.

In all the Nine Realms, there was no god more beloved than Balder the Beautiful. Son of Odin the All-Father and Frigg the Queen of Heaven, Balder shone with an inner light that made all who looked upon him feel joy and peace. His golden hair caught sunlight like spun thread, his blue eyes sparkled with kindness, and his very presence could calm the fiercest storm or heal the deepest sorrow.

The Apples of Idunn
Jul 29, 2025
In the golden halls of Asgard, among all the treasures possessed by the gods, none was more precious than the grove of Idunn, keeper of the golden apples. These were no ordinary fruits, for they held within them the secret of eternal youth, ensuring that the Æsir gods would never grow old or weak.
Each morning, the goddess Idunn would walk through her sacred grove, tending to her magical apple trees with gentle hands. She was young and beautiful, with hair like spun gold and a voice as sweet as birdsong. Her very presence caused flowers to bloom and birds to sing more sweetly.

The Building of Asgard's Wall
Jul 29, 2025
In the early days after the creation of Asgard, when the gods had newly established their realm high above Midgard, they faced a pressing problem. Their beautiful halls and golden palaces stood unprotected, vulnerable to attack from the giants of Jotunheim and other hostile forces that roamed the Nine Realms.
The gods gathered in council in Gladsheim, Odin’s great hall, to discuss this urgent matter.
“We need defenses,” declared Thor, his red beard bristling with concern. “The giants grow bolder each day, and our realm lies open to their attacks.”
