Once, a kind master decided to reward his loyal dog by inviting him to a grand supper. The table was set with delicious meats, fresh bread, and sweet cakes, and the dog was allowed to sit among the guests as a special treat.

At first, the dog behaved well, sitting quietly and watching the people enjoy their meal. But as the aroma of roasted meat and savory dishes filled the air, the dog’s mouth began to water. He tried to resist, but the temptation grew too strong.

When no one was looking, the dog leapt onto the table and snatched a juicy piece of meat. The guests gasped in surprise, and the master, embarrassed by his pet’s greed, ordered the dog to leave the feast at once.

The dog went home hungry and ashamed, realizing that his lack of self-control had cost him a wonderful evening.

From that day on, the dog remembered the lesson and learned to be patient and well-mannered, knowing that good behavior brings greater rewards than greed.

Moral: Greed and lack of self-control lead to loss. Good manners and restraint are always rewarded.
